Step 1: Contact Your Bank or Card Provider
If your payment is declined or fails to process, we recommend contacting your bank or card provider first before trying the transaction again. This will help identify if the issue is with your card, account, or our checkout system.
Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
Since 14 March 2022, all payment providers must comply with new fraud-prevention rules called Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).
This means your bank or card provider may ask you to verify your payment before it can be processed. Verification methods can vary depending on your provider and may include:

A text message or phone call with a verification code

A push notification or link in your banking app

A request to confirm the payment online
To ensure your transaction passes verification:

Make sure your contact details (mobile number, email) and billing address are up to date with your bank.

If you use a banking app, we recommend opening it and keeping it active in the background when making your purchase.
