Selecting the optimum size of hurling stick can make all the difference to your game, allowing control over the sliotar and a more natural swing. Follow our hurl size guide below to find the correct hurl size for you. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down. It is better to have a hurley slightly shorter than slightly too long to make it easier to swing.
How to measure a hurling stick:
- Stand up straight with your hands relaxed by your sides.
- Measure the distance from the ground to the beginning of the wrist.
- Take note of the measurement. Hurls are available in 2 inch increments up to 36".
- The V position between your finger and thumb should sit as close as possible to the neck of the hurl and the hurley should be on the ground.
